This is the end of my fourth full day in England…without Melanie. I’m having a great time but I would be having an even greater time if Melanie was here enjoying all the sights and sound of Cambridge and its surrounding areas with me. I keep thinking I will bring her back here one day to show here everything I’ve seen on this trip, but she has already been to most of the places I have and will be going. I guess that means we’ll have to go to another Euro country together to make our own memories. Finland, here we come!!!

Mel booked the DJ all on her own. I would have preferred DJ Jazzy Jim. I had him mix for me at a party I threw my freshmen year at the BU. Although I would have loved to bring DJJJ out of retirement, he is actually standing with me at our wedding as one of my groomsmen.

Maybe Mel will let me book the magician on my own…

Justin is having a good time in London so far. He enjoyed all the free movies on his Virgin Atlantic flight, but he only got one hour of sleep during the whole journey!
Today I believe he is doing a walking tour of the area (Cambridge) that his parents are living in. Well, it’s about 7pm there as I am writing this, so more than likely they are probably done with the walking by now!

Justin is leaving today for London, to visit his parents who are living in Cambridge for 6 months. He is excited for the trip, as he has never been to England. I am bummed I cannot go with him, but I have to start saving up my vacation days if we want to be able to actually go on a honeymoon in September!
Wedding plans are coming along… I meet with the DJ tomorrow to iron out the contract, and once my mom comes out for a visit next month I will get to pick out my dress!

Melanie and I celebrated Vday ‘07 at Dland. I would have been good with 5 hours at the park, but we spent nearly 12….. or so…… The highlight was eating dinner at the Blue Bayou. Very nice and romantic…..
