Mr & Mrs Peters

This week has been a really awesome one! I had a wonderful first few days at the Hilton, and Justin enjoyed some time off from work. We celebrated Justin’s birthday on Tuesday (he turned the big 2-8). We had a really delicious dinner with Brent & Jill, to celebrate not only Justin’s special day, but also Jill’s and my birthday from a few weeks ago.
Also, we had a wonderful time celebrating the wedding of our good friends Joel and Celeste. On Thursday there was a rehearsal dinner and then the main event on Friday. It was one of those weddings that you never want to end! It was a great combination of people, some very fun dancing, and just an all-around special night!

Well, we are now only 200 days away from the wedding! To me it is an encouraging number, because I still have time to plan and what not, but when I give Justin updates on the countdown his eyes almost bug out of his head. I think 200 days seems like an eternity to him as this point! This weekend was an incredibly exciting one for me because…. I got my dress!! It is so beautiful, and makes me feel just like a princess (which I suppose is the way every bride should feel!)

Also, I am about to start a new job this next week so that is very exciting. I am going to be working for Hilton, in the Sales Office. My schedule will now be a lot more stable, which I am incredibly excited about! Sadly, no more great discounts at Disneyland for me.

This last weekend I celebrated my birthday! Although I had to work the late night shift the actual day of my birthday, it was a fun weekend. Justin got me a gorgeous pink beach cruiser which I cannot wait to try out at Huntington. I got to spend time with my family on Saturday, and I also had a fun girls night out during the weekend.
Justin and I have asked Ken Krikac to be the officiant at our wedding. Ken is the father of one of my roommates. I have known him since I met Chloe freshman year in Alpha. Justin and I are both so excited that he will be the one marrying us.
Justin has not been feeling well over the last week, and between that and starting at his new location, he has been quite tired/sick. I have gotten a tatse of what is to come in our married life whenever he falls ill. (I have not decided to run away screaming yet!)
My mom is coming out for a visit next weekend, which we are both looking forward to. Most likely we will purchase my dress in the next week! Yipee!!
