The United States Postal Service
Wedding plans are coming along… Now we are only 161 days away from September 29!
The last couple of weeks my big project has been our Save the Date cards. Stamps have been my big problem. Because of the fact that stamps are going up in rate next month, all of the post offices are running incredibly low on the remaining 39 cent stamps. Basically my options were jalapenos, corn, or super hero ones.
I was able to locate some classy ones, so I avioded a minor breakdown inside the Whittier Post Office. Besides my newfound ordeals with the address labels I am beginning to print, things seem to be under control.
This last week we had our first pre-martial “counseling” session with Ken and Lindsay Krikac. Ken is going to be performing the wedding ceremony. We had a really good time talking with them, and they provided us with a workbook we will be working with over the next couple of months. Exciting!
Justin has been continuing to enjoy work at his new location. He works a lot of overtime, which is nice for the bank, but stinks for me because I see a lot less of him. Work for me is continuing to go well. I just finished my fifth week at the hotel, and I have found myself feeling very much at home with the people I work with, as well as with my office space.
Dave and Sheri are finishing up a tour of Scotland and England. They are now about two months away from coming home. Justin and I miss them a lot, and I am excited to be able to share more in this engagement process with them when they return at the end of June. (They left for Cambridge about 3 weeks after we got engaged!)
