So far 2008 has been a great year for Justin and I! The second week of January we went to visit Bryant and Amy (Justin’s brother and sister-in-law) in Utah. We had such a blast- we went tubing and shopping and ate a whole lot of yummy food. Most of all, it was nice to be around Bryant and Amy as we rarely get to see them.Another highlight of the month is that we finally we were able to bring Justin’s dog Skyla home! She has been staying with various family members over the last few years but with the purchase of our new home she has finally gotten to reunite with her Daddy. Since she has arrived at our house we have been enjoying lots of walks and she even has her own bed that sits next to ours! I will try to post some pictures of her soon, but in the meantime- here are a couple from Utah.

I have been thinking of adding a list of the wedding vendors that were really great for quite some time. Please forward these names along to anyone you know who is planning a wedding or other special event. I have only listed the vendors who did a good job and were reliable. Also, I love that each of these companies are a “small business”- it was neat to work with people who have worked hard to make a living out of doing the thing they love most! (I also recommend these vendors for their competitive pricing. No $8,000 flower budget for me!)
