Can anyone please tell me why the sound of Michael McDonald’s voice makes me want to gouge out my eyes with a dull pencil?
Yes, I know this is a strange thought with which to re-embark on my blog writing, but I just cannot get it out of my mind.
I promise to be back soon with something a little less gruesome.

Oh my goodness WELCOME BACK! I have told Chloe at least five times how much I miss your blog…..but Mel dear “Michael McDonald” painful? really? WE have seen him twice in concert and loved it. We got free tickets cause he is a good friend of Daves!!! (hint hint) so you may be in big trouble with the fam missy : ) But if you EVER EVER make fun of my Vince Gill fists are gonna fly. I adore you and am so glad you got your blog juices going again. now blog about thanksgiving and that broken table and wonderful food. Hugs Karen~

I agree with Karen – maybe you have to “be of a certain age”. He is wonderful in concert. I am also happy to see you writing again. Your fans will be thrilled. I love you so very much my sweet daughter.
